VIRINĀ REDDY is a conscious womenswear designer label showcasing a blend of elevated Western Prêt-wear, Indian-fusion and Couture, made in India. The label also caters to bespoke needs with a touch of the brand’s aesthetic. Specialising in Luxe Occasion wear, Evening and Cocktail wear, the label has been primarily operating online and from the studio at Rutland gate in Chennai, India, since 2023 on a made-to-order basis.
We are a size-inclusive affordable luxury label built out of a desire to celebrate and enhance the female silhouette. Our products highlight Indian artisanship by means of rich hand-embroidery and artistry techniques, with a play on textures.
MISSION
The conscious yet fashion-forward ethos of the label aims to bridge the gap between handcrafted techniques and contemporary silhouettes, flattering every unique body type. Guided by Indian roots and heritage, we strive to cater to the needs of the modern woman.

We are an aspiring minimal-waste slow fashion label built out of a desire to carry forward traditional craftsmanship whilst marrying new-age ideas. We strive to reach the global modern woman whilst implementing ethical and sustainable practices one step at a time.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
The founder, creative director and enterprising designer, Virina Reddy, developed a keen interest in the creative fields from her earliest years. Virina went on to complete her undergraduate degree in a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Management from the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London. She has taken on an interest in fashion, art, textural elements and sustainability. She debuted her first collection at the Madras Couture Fashion Week, Season 9, in February 2024, showcasing ‘BARÇA 20-4’.
A Shift to Sustainable & Ethical Practices
ETHICS
As a conscious luxury label, VIRINĀ REDDY strives to implement sustainable and ethical practices one step at a time with regards to our people, product and practices. We celebrate Indian artisans and especially encourage women, providing all with fair working conditions and timely wages.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
All our handcrafted products are sold on a “made-to-order” basis and in the form of small production cycles when needed; this ensures we adhere to slow fashion and develop high quality items that are long-lasting.
UPCYCLING
During production processes we gather all deadstock and leftover pieces of fabric, and segregate them internally. Since fabric waste is one of the most degrading forms of waste production to our environment, we aim to avoid fabric being dumped in landfill. Accordingly, we use the leftover fabrics from production in the form of applique work detailing and upcycling techniques in similar ways.
PACKAGING
The packaging we provide is entirely recyclable, eco-friendly, compostable and curb-side compostable.This is another step implemented towards a more sustainable environment.
